At the apex of American Express’s diverse business ventures, lies Small Business Saturday and the transformative Shop Small campaign. I collaborated closely with American Express to propel Small Business Saturday to new heights as a perennial platform. Through the creation of one of the company’s inaugural open user-generated content websites, coupled with the activation of small business proprietors and consumers via the interactive tool known as “The Story Creator,” the Small Business Saturday initiative shattered all prior benchmarks.

 

Witnessing a meteoric surge of 500% in brand recognition, consumer involvement, and the expansion of the ambassadors network to encompass over 3000 members, including chambers of commerce, business associations, and influential business magnates, this monumental achievement set a profound milestone for both American Express and the small business community. The resonating triumph of this endeavor testified to the resounding synergy between American Express and small enterprises, epitomizing the unwavering commitment to fostering collaborative growth.
